The short version

GPTSheild does not ask you to create an account, does not run advertising or analytics, and does not sell or share personal data. The tools that remember your place keep their information only in your own browser.

Information stored in your browser

If you use the save, read, and progress tools, your browser stores small pieces of data on your device:

• a list of the articles you saved;
• a list of the articles you marked as read;
• the approximate percentage you reached in each article you opened.

This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is used only to show your saved items and progress on your own device. You can erase it at any time from the saved articles and progress page or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. If your browser blocks storage, the site still works, and these features simply do not remember anything.

The site does not set cookies. See the cookie policy.

Contacting us

The contact form does not send data through this website. It opens your own email program with a prepared message. If you then send it, we receive the email address and content you chose to include and use them only to respond to you or to handle your correction request. We do not add you to mailing lists.

Technical logs

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep routine technical logs, such as IP address, date and time, and requested address, under the practices of the hosting provider. We do not use this information to identify visitors.

External links

Articles link to outside institutions and to image sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices that we do not control.

Children

The site is general educational content and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Because we do not hold personal data about visitors, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we ever introduce analytics, advertising, or any service that uses cookies or shares data, we will update this policy before doing so and request consent where required.
